Comprised of 48 acres located in Southeast Dallas adjacent to the historic Wheatley Place neighborhood, Oakland Cemetery has the largest acreage of the participating cemeteries in the Constellation of Living Memorials. It sits on an old Pleistocene Terrace and Post Oak Savannah, bridging the transition between Western Blackland Prairie and the Eastern Piney Woods.
