Albert Carver Cemetery (Non-Active) 10200 Bruton Rd
Dallas, TX 75217

Albert Carver was raised in Missouri by his uncle, Moses Carver, on the same plantation as George Washington Carver, the noted Black agricultural scientist and inventor. In 1856, Albert purchased this Blackland Prairie land for his family and moved to Dallas in order to farm and breed cattle. This was their family cemetery, and today it is maintained by volunteers.
