Oakland Prairie Project Volunteer Day
The Oakland Prairie Project areas are in the very back of Oakland Cemetery. We usually spend about 90 minutes on project tasks, followed by a break; then we walk, take photos, and make iNaturalist observations. Restoration tasks vary in intensity, and there are most always different levels available. Installing the iNaturalist app on your phone is highly recommended. Bring water, hat, work gloves; boots, long pants and sleeves recommended. Note: Volunteer Days will occasionally be preempted by Oakland Cemetery events.
