Cemetery Stakeholder & Volunteer Leads Meeting

This will be a private virtual meeting bringing together volunteer leaders from CLM’s original two-year pilot cemeteries and all stakeholders joining during the 18-month launch phase. The discussion will encourage peer-to-peer learning, strengthen connections across the growing network, and identify the questions, opportunities, and challenges most important to cemetery volunteers. These insights will help guide the conversation for the upcoming October 3 Symposium II and inform the continued refinement of the CLM Toolkit. Please contact CLM’s Communities Partnership Liason to join us: Melinda@ConstellationofLivingMemorials.org‍

Symposium II - Upcoming Oct 3 - To be discussed at our meeting

CLM Symposium II explores how historic cemeteries can become living memorials through conservation, education and community stewardship.

The Constellation of Living Memorials Symposium II brings together leaders in conservation, education, historic preservation, community engagement, higher education, and public policy to explore how neglected historic cemeteries can become sacred grounds, living landscapes, and civic anchors for healthier communities. With CLM moving from a successful two-year pilot into its launch phase, this year’s symposium looks toward what comes next: building the partnerships, community leadership, and framework needed to grow a sustainable movement across Texas and beyond. Through presentations, moderated conversations, a national keynote, and facilitated small-group discussions, attendees will not simply hear about the CLM model. They will help shape its future.

We want everyone to be able to participate.

If the $15 registration fee presents a barrier, please contact Melinda@ConstellationofLivingMemorials.org . We don’t want cost to prevent anyone from joining us.

The ideas generated throughout the day will help shape CLM's national scaling strategy.
